「可換環論の研究者にもっとスペクトル列を知ってもらいたい」とアジる一方で，「導来圏のような 'sophisticated' な予備知識は使わないから大丈夫」とささやくのは中途半端な気もする．"Residues and Duality" は 1963/64 の講義．その後 Peskine-Szpiro など数々の進歩はあったが，精神においてはそこから退化していたのではなかったか？
